AIKEN HIGH SCHOOL GERMAN EXTRA HELP

EXTRA HELP IS AVAILABLE

AHS German Moodle is HERE.

Face-to-face extra help is available for Aiken High School German students after school on Mondays (Frau Lader’s room) and Thursdays (Ms. Hensley’s room).

Extra help is also available via email every day: Frau Lader: llader@aiken.k12.sc.us, Herr Lader: alader@aiken.k12.sc.us.

If you are having difficulty in German, it is your responsibility to take advantage of these extra help opportunities as soon as possible.

DEP EXTRA HELP

The National German Honor Society at Aiken High School, Delta Epsilon Phi, offers free extra help for German I and II students Mondays in room NA 13 from 3:25 pm – 4:00 pm. (If you are a German III, IV or V student and require extra help, please contact your German teacher.)

It is not necessary to sign up in advance for this. You simply show up and a student tutor or a German teacher will assist you.

It is important that you are able to tell the tutor what kind of problem you are having. It is not enough to indicate that you are not doing well in German. You must have your textbook with you as well as your notebook, old tests and quizzes, etc.

Our student tutors are excellent, but please understand that no tutor in the world can help you if you do not know vocabulary. It is simply not possible to determine what other problems you may have if you do not know the German words and phrases you need to communicate in German.

NHS EXTRA HELP

NHS, the National Honor Society at Aiken High School, offers free extra help for German I and II Thursdays in room C 26 from 3:25 pm – 4:00 pm. (If you are a German III, IV or V student and require extra help, please contact your German teacher.)

If you will be attending NHS extra help, you should let Mrs. Hensley know not later than Tuesday that you will need help in German. This will give her time to ask a German tutor to be available for you.
